Meet Ana

Education

Ana earned her Associate of Arts degree from East Los Angeles College before transferring to California State University, Los Angeles, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sociology, along with a minor in Gerontology.

14 Years Serving Students & Families

For 14 years, Ana dedicated her professional career to serving students through the Los Angeles Community College District, including 13 years at East Los Angeles College and one year at Los Angeles City College.

Working in Workforce Development and Student Services, Ana helped connect students with educational resources, career pathways, workforce opportunities, and support services designed to help them succeed in college and beyond.

In 2018, Ana founded Organica Juice Bar, Montebello’s first organic juice bar.

Built from the ground up, Organica grew from Ana’s own wellness journey and her belief that healthy food and wellness opportunities should be accessible to everyone.

Today, she operates Organica alongside her daughter, Leslie.

As a small business owner, Ana understands firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs face — from rising costs and regulations to attracting customers and keeping their doors open.

That experience has strengthened her commitment to supporting Montebello businesses and creating an environment where local entrepreneurs and families can succeed.

Ana’s community involvement includes serving as an active member of the Montebello Chamber of Commerce and Rotary, while regularly working with local organizations, businesses, schools, and community partners.

Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, integrity, lived experience, and a commitment to service.

Ana believes Montebello deserves leadership that listens to residents, brings people together, supports public safety and local businesses, strengthens services for youth and seniors, protects taxpayer dollars, and ensures every resident has a meaningful voice in the city’s future.
